Solarvista’s service management software can be very beneficial to a huge number of companies, including those working in the B2C or Retail and Consumer markets.
The service management technology offered by Solarvista, allows for mobilisation of a company’s field service workforce, reducing downtime of equipment and increasing efficiency and, ultimately, a company’s profits.
Photo-Me is an example of such a company, who have implemented the Solarvista Workforce Mobilisation Platform, with great effect.
Photo-Me International Plc is the world’s leading manufacturer and operator of automatic photo booths, with operations in 15 countries and over 25,000 machines in many types of location such as supermarkets, shopping centres and stations. Their photo booths will have been used by most of us at some time in order to obtain a passport photo.
With around 200 field service engineers responsible for an average of 100 photo booths each, reducing downtime and managing workload are critical to the success of Photo-Me’s business.
By working in collaboration with Photo-Me, Solarvista configured the software to cater for the individual needs of this business. This included starting each job with a barcode scan of a photo booth ID to ensure accurate identification of the machine, and real-time data capture stored until transmission can take place to ensure the indeterminate nature of mobile networks never prevents a field engineer from working.
Solarvista’s Mobile Worker solution has provided Photo-Me with a future proof, fully scalable service management system, which integrates with their existing host computer systems and maintains the excellent service levels that they are well known for.
