Solarvista 7 Workforce Mobilisation Platform is based around a proven and advanced Mobile Server hub that handles communications between your existing IT systems and the mobile devices carried by the field workers. The mobile devices run Solarvista 7 Mobile Worker; a readymade, configurable service application suitable for a wide range of work or business types.
Mobile Worker replaces paper based and / or voice based communications and captures data easily and quickly. It will also allow the field worker to create new jobs and upload these to the host IT systems. All communications are handled automatically and mobile devices operate independently, so that they continue to operate even without network coverage. Configuration changes, and any software updates, are automatically transmitted over the air, without the need to update devices individually.
As an optional component, it is possible to add a web application, Solarvista 7 Customer Web Self Service, for your customers to access and track the status of jobs via the internet. This can even be added to your website as it is delivered in an unbranded state.
Solarvista 7 Workforce Mobilisation Platform also provides a sophisticated dispatch and planning tool, Solarvista 7 Planner or the more advanced Solarvista 7 Scheduler, to allow dispatchers / planners to allocate work via a drag & drop user interface.
Planner and Scheduler allow the management of job stacks and diaries, displaying jobs status information in real-time. These scheduling systems also allow the optional maintenance of skills and shift patterns, all of which are used by the Planner or Scheduler application to assist with allocation of jobs to the most suitable personnel. With the addition of the Solarvista 7 MapTrak product, you can also view location of field workers on maps.

The mobile applications run on standard Windows Mobile™ devices and communications are carried out using proven internet technologies. Software updates and configuration changes are automatically dispatched “over the air” eliminating the need to update each field worker’s device individually.
