NEW SOLARVISTA™ MAPTRAK OPTION AVAILABLE.

Solarvista™ launched second version of geographic tracking option, MapTrak.

In addition to the existing "online" version of MapTrak, Solarvista™ is pleased to make available a second edition, Solarvista™ MapTrak (Offline Edition) which operates independently of the internet. The new Solarvista™ MapTrak (Offline Edition), displays the location of field based personnel using a special component that works with standard (hard disk version) of Microsoft® MapPoint™.

This edition tracks the location of field personnel using GPS and plots their positions on the map, together with current workload data. This operates using maps loaded on the user's machine, not sourced from the web.

"We recognized that some users preferred using local software to browser-based software", says Andrew Pyott, Sales Director. "Now, our customers have a choice of either option."

This edition does not replace the existing edition, which will be renamed Solarvista™ MapTrak (Online Edition).
