Introducing... Solarvista 7.0 Business Manager

Solarvista 7.0 Business Manager is designed for use by users in all roles within your organization. It consists of several modules, each available separately depending upon your requirements. Users in particular roles are usually given rights to access relevant modules only.

Service Module

This module is the core of the Solarvista 7.0 Service Management System. It delivers a comprehensive feature set to enable optimization of service organizations incorporating field service with supplementary help desk and repair centre disciplines.  For field service scenarios, it offers refined and proven processes to streamline call/job entry, SLA entitlement/validation, scheduling and dispatch, time and expense capture, materials recording and customer billing. It is suitable for all categories of field service including, onsite breakdown/repair, installations, calibration, meter readings, and planned maintenance. For help desk scenarios, agents are provided with full access to customer histories, equipment/asset status and service level entitlements. It offers refined and proven processes to streamline product and service support requests either directly from the customer or escalated from another department. It is suitable for all categories of customer support including, product support, field service call avoidance, professional services and information centres. For repair centre scenarios, it provides return material authorizations (RMA), repair order/job registration, SLA entitlement/validation, service chain tracking, time and expense capture, materials recording and customer billing. It is suitable for all categories of depot/workshop repair including returns departments, internal or external asset management and calibration/PM services. In all cases, costs are captured in real-time for all billable, non-billable or agreement (i.e. contract) based interactions. This data is used for billing or assessment against agreements/contracts. Agreements Module

Delivers state-of-the-art feature set to enable any service-oriented organization to offer services on a pre-packaged contractual basis. It offers refined and proven processes to streamline service agreement (i.e. service contract) administration, service level (SLA) entitlement/validation, costs and supplemental revenue analysis, customer billing and renewal. It offers refined and proven processes to streamline opportunity management, pricing policy control, quotation production, negotiation/relationship tracking, order processing, and win-loss analysis. Its functionality covers sales of combinations of products/equipment with accessories and consumables. Delivers a comprehensive and integrated inventory/stock control system set to enable any service or sales organization to manage physical inventory for the best results. It operates for multiple strategies, including centralized warehouse, depot/branch-based, customer site, supplier/vendor site, field personnel and mobile vehicles. It offers refined and proven processes to streamline

Contact Centre Module

Delivers a comprehensive feature set to enable a customer service agent to access all information from field service, help desk, repair centre, sales, inventory/logistics, agreements (i.e. contracts) and finance/accounting departments. It enables a single point of contact to be offered to the customer and allows customer service agents to view full customer histories, including low-level order line item details, record communications (e.g. telephone calls, emails, letters, notes, appointments etc.) and quickly request follow-up actions from other departments linked to originating orders. Financials Module

Supplements the other modules and delivers automated processes for the generation of invoices, tracking of payment receipts and customer statement production. Customer-friendly, detailed invoices are generated for service orders/jobs, service agreements and sales orders. (more...)
