Need to mobilise your workforce?

Introducing... Solarvista 7.0 Workforce Mobilization Platform

Solarvista™ 7.0 Workforce Mobilisation Platform is a mobile workforce management system that enables organisations with existing satisfactory embedded IT systems to easily add mobile devices and automate the delivery of timely data to/from field workers such as engineers, technicians, maintenance workers and service staff. Part of the proven Solarvista™ 7.0 system, a complete business solution in use in over 20 countries and used by thousands of users it facilitates streamlining of processes and in turn, this empowers staff to better manage their resources, improve customer service and lower operating costs.

Solarvista™ 7.0 Workforce Mobilisation Platform is based around a proven and advanced Mobile Server hub that handles communications between your existing IT systems and the mobile devices carried by the field workers. The mobile devices run Solarvista™ 7.0 Mobile Worker, a readymade, configurable service application suitable for a wide range of work or business types. Mobile Worker replaces paper-based and/or voice based communications and captures data easily and quickly. It will also allow the field worker to create new jobs and upload these to the host IT systems. All communications are handled automatically and mobile devices operate independently, i.e. they continue to operate even without network coverage. Configuration changes, and any software updates, are automatically transmitted over the air, without the need to update devices individually. As an optional component, it is possible to add a web application, Solarvista™ 7.0 – Customer Web Self Service, for your customers to access and track the status of jobs via the internet. This can even be added to your web site as it is delivered in an unbranded state.

Solarvista™ 7.0 – Workforce Mobilisation Platform isn’t just a mobile data solution however. It also provides a sophisticated dispatch and planning tool, Solarvista™ 7.0 Planner, to allow dispatchers/planners to allocate work via a drag and drop user interface. This tool allows the management of job stacks and diaries and displays jobs status information in real-time. The system also allows the optional maintenance of skills and shift patterns, all of which are used by the Planner application to assist with allocation of jobs to the most suitable personnel. With the addition of the Solarvista™ 7.0 - MapTrak product, you can also view location of field workers on maps. For more advanced scenarios, the optional Solarvista™ 7.0 Optimizing Scheduler, based upon the renowned ServicePower™ scheduling technology, delivers a state-of the- art, intelligent scheduling engine that automatically allocates work in a way that matches your current business priorities.
