In today's email age, customers have become used to being notified automatically when events happen. But sending messages to the right contact when events occur is not an easy task to achieve consistently. In addition, jobs which may be in jeopardy in relation to varying service level commitments (SLAs) are difficult to identify to enable timely corrective action. Solarvista 7 Event Manager, delivers a tool that allows all relevant situations to be monitored in real-time and notifications to be sent automatically to internal or external contacts via email. Solarvista 7 Event Manager tracks such criteria as SLA Response Times that are about to be missed and sends alerts to a configurable list of personnel (some of which are dynamically selected). In addition, it enables real-time jeopardy alerting within the Solarvista 7 Planner application. Solarvista 7 Event Manager is also used to update customers when, for instance, jobs progress through key stages (such as being scheduled, when the field personnel sets an estimated time of arrival etc).
When used with other products in the Solarvista 7 Service Management System such as the Business Manager modules Service and Financials, Scheduler, MapTrak and Mobile Worker this product supplements the core of a best of breed solution for your service-oriented department or organisation.
