Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic engineer to join and become a key part of our team. The team is responsible for the platform infrastructure implemented in the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, as well as day-to-day operations, ongoing developments, some 2nd & but mostly 3rd line customer support and security.

Salary: £competitive
Hours: 37.5 hours, rotas between 0600-1900, Mon-Fri
Location: Sheffield Office
NOTE: Initially working from home may be required subject to government restrictions.
Responsibilities
As a member of the team, you will be involved in a broad range of operational I.T. activities relating to maintenance and on-going development of Solarvista cloud platform but also in-house I.T. systems. This will require working outside normal hours and/or working on an on-call basis against a scheduled rota.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a some of the following skills:
- Scripting with PowerShell.
- Understanding how to use REST APIs.
- Basic SQL skills (T-SQL preferred).
- Some knowledge of C# (not exhaustive).
- Understanding Containers (Docker) concepts.
- Azure (or similar cloud) platform experience.
- Networking, infrastructure and virtualisation knowledge.
Crucially however, you must have a strong willingness to constantly learn, be self-motivated, have an ability to manage own time against schedules/deadlines and have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
